Dr. Rhodes has been a Professor of Music since 2001 where he begin working as Director of Chora/Vocal Activities at Grambling State University. He started work as Assistant Professor of Voice at the Florida A&M University from 2008 - 2020. In 2023 he begin work as Assistant Professor of Music and Director of Choral Activities at Huston-Tillotson University. He is currently the Director of Choral /Vocal Studies at Chicago State University.
